A Bounty Black Plants

Of Ilion's plant life, black plants might seem more familiar to those of us on Earth. Being black, they are adapted to low light conditions such as the floor of a temperate forest or the terminator region where the sun is always low on the horizon. They can grow in sunnier locations but only with special adaptatios to avoid overheating. Despite the name, some black plants are red or yellow in color for this very reason.
