Description

I'm experimenting with wax and acrylic pastes to see if I can make a good ice effect for a larger piece. The wax itself is colorless, with the blue coming from the first layer of transparent heavy gel tinted with Golden Fluid manganese blue hue, with more pigment placed in the fissures than on the surface. It looks best when backlit. This version is small, built on a failed CD burn like these:
